Having filmed weddings at the Shireburn Arms, there are a number of small details and locations that really help make the most of the venue on film.
The bridal preparation cabin is a lovely, private space surrounded by greenery. As it’s a more compact area, it’s worth having a quick tidy before the photographer and videographer arrive to keep the background clean and uncluttered for preparation footage.
Inside the main house, the bridal suite is a standout feature, with a beautiful statement copper roll-top bath that adds character and interest to preparation shots and detail footage.
The grounds around Bartle Hall offer plenty of opportunities for relaxed couple moments throughout the day. The established trees and gardens create a natural countryside feel, while the impressive driveway approach works particularly well for wide, cinematic shots that showcase the venue.
One of the newer additions to the venue is the separate entrance into the evening reception room. This creates a great opportunity for a dramatic reveal or entrance shot as the celebrations begin.
As the light fades, the fairy-light alley becomes a real highlight. This area provides a unique and atmospheric backdrop for evening couple footage, adding variety and a warm, romantic feel to the final film.
