Built in 1325 and famous for being one of the most haunted buildings in Lancashire, Samlesbury Hall made for a spectacular March wedding venue. Richard and Helena, from Melbourne, Australia chose the venue in Lancashire for their wedding after spending part of their early working life at the nearby BAE Systems. Whilst Richard spent the night before in one of the picturesque Shepherd's Hut, Helena slept in style in the Victorian Gatehouse. This also provided the perfect backdrop for morning prep filming from 8am.
With the threat of visits from the legendary ghost, the White Lady, we put our big pants on and braved the haunted upstairs rooms to get some great shots through the old windows. Fortunately, we had no unwelcome visitors but I will be looking through the footage just in case.
